I drew a picture that resembled radial balance and put the words inside of it. I then looked at the 2D image and digitized it by replicating it on Adobe Illustrator. I enjoyed comparing the two versions to see how close I can get them to matching.

Educational Philosophy
An educator’s role is to ensure that the next generation is ready to assume roles in society. I will run my classroom in a way that caters to each student’s individual needs. Children are all very unique and all learn in their own ways. It is up to the educator to provide various means of learning in order to reach every student. I will also create a learning environment that provides students a classroom in which they feel safe to express themselves. In order to learn, students must feel comfortable and welcome where they are. Education is the key to a brighter future.

I explored camera operations for this project by taking pictures throughout my house and neighborhood. Some of the operations include back lighting, low angle, motion, and rule of thirds. This assignment allowed me to take simple objects such as a fork and turn it into art. I enjoyed viewing my every day environment with an artistic lens.

I enjoyed solving the clues on where to take the pictures for this assignment.
Color Wheel

I created this color wheel out of icing and food coloring. I used the primary colors: red, yellow, and blue. Mixing them in different amounts created the rest of the colors in the color wheel. It took some trial and error to find the perfect shade of each color. I repeatedly mixed primary colors together in different amounts to obtain the results of the final project.
STEM Kahoot
This kahoot can be used in a third grade math classroom and serve as a review before a test on fractions. It is a way to gauge how well students know the information presented rather than created flashcards. An element of competition can be added if the students are able to handle it. If not, the kahoot can be played without point value.
Decal Project

I created a symbol that represents a relationship that I have with my friend using tools in illustrator. The colors and symbols used represent aspects of our friendship. The blue background symbolizes out trust and the security we give each other. The hands in the middle show that we are supportive of each other. The yin and yang along with the magnet show that although we have opposite personalities, we stick together and form a great bond. The lock represents the trustworthiness between us. The heart is outlined in balance beams since we met in gymnastics. They are green to represent that we look to help each other grow.
